ABOUT JO W
Jo began pole dancing in 2007 and took part in her first pole performances in the same year. She entered her first pole competition (UKAPP) in 2011, in which she placed second in the Advanced Category. Jo went on to win the Pole Factor Essex Heats in 2012.
More recently she has competed in Floorplay London and the Authentic Pole Dance Competition. Jo has said that her proudest achievement and favourite performance was for Grip 2012 - when she convinced three of her non-pole dancing friends to join her in a group performance taking them from complete beginners to stage ready in only six weeks.
Jo has also performed Aerial Hoop at the ExCel Centre, and pole alongside Faye at Rockesque and Chinnor Bike Festival. She was also part of the Guinness Book of World Record’s ‘Largest Burlesque Routine’. Her most recent performance was an online chair performance for the Carnival of Carnage.
Jo is an Xpert trained Flexibility Flow Instructor. She is also fully first aid trained and has completed Level 2 Exercise to Music and Level 3 Nutrition for Physical Fitness (REPS CIMSPA). Jo is also a Yoga instructor (200HRS Yoga Alliance Qualified) and has completed courses in Yin, pre and postnatal yoga and children’s yoga. Jo has a great passion for flexibility training and she also enjoys Muay Thai, yoga and weight training. Jo also makes pole and aerial costumes and bridal wear.
